Gaurd Yourself against seasonal Viruses

It's that time Folks! Colds and flues are already going around. There is  much we can do to help minimize the chance of catching seasonal viruses. It takes some effort and vigilance but it is completely worth it.
Not only will you  minimize your chances of getting ill, but you will also reduce the severity of the symptoms and recover more quickly. You'll also find that your general energy level will increase.
Here are a few simple suggestions that you can fit into your life now and start creating Healthy Habits.
EVERY DAY: start by drinking water with fresh lemon juice.
Take 1,000 mg Vit C at least twice a day
Vit D 1,000 -2,000 once a day
Oregano oil 1-1 ratio 5-6 drops in a tsp of olive oil
Minimize your dairy, sugar and alcohol consumption.
Get plenty of sleep, at least 7 hrs. Being tired taxes your immune system.
Get fresh air every day, good source of Prana!!! Go for walks and breath deeply even if it's cold DO IT! 10 mins is better than nothing.
Do Jala netti/ nasal washing - when you wake up or as soon as you get home from work especially if you take TTC or work with kids.  (Contact me if you want to learn this)
Wash your hands after being in public places or shaking hands with some one.
Do some Pranayama - yogic breathing. This helps to boost the immune system. Even 5 mins will be enough.
REIKI -If you are initiated into Reiki, then be sure to do self Reiki at night before sleeping. Or recieve a reiki session every couple of weeks. This will boost your personal energy field and strengthen cellular activity.

There are many other herbal products we can use as well but as I said before I wanted to keep this simple so you will be more likely to do it.
